The game enumerates stuff when it starts, not on the fly. the ones that actually have a sound card built-in? Or unless Square Enix finally decides to put their EU servers in the EU.Īlthough I'm not sure about the update, I never tried the steam verson of WTFast until today, but the non steam version never worked before or after the latest update. You're using those 'USB headphones', i.e. My best guess is that either the steam version of FF14 isn't supported or I have yet to try the correct configuration or that the connection is getting blocked by one of my programmes, I have tried disabling anti-virus adding exceptions to my firewall but still nothing.Īny help would be gratefull I cannot join any high end raids as a ninja without it. I know this programme works because a friend using a non-steam version of ff14 is getting positive results which makes this a little more frustrating, I should mention although I have tried both versions of WTFast I don't have them installed together. Launcher Parameters: steam://rungameid/39210

Game Excecutable File: C:\\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn\game\ffxiv.exe

The only configuration I was able to find on the forums which I tried on both versions were The non steam version of WTFast does launch but never re-routes any data with the message being "POSSIBLE CONNECTION ISSUE, PLEASE READ" I did wait for a few minutes each time while ingame so I am sure its not working. Actually downloading the steam version made it worse, when WTFast is launched from steam I get "WTFast System Settings has Stopped Working", although after accepting an elevated prompt for WTFast System Settings is does launch, the main problem while the steam version launches the programme with "Steam Client Bootstrapper has Stopped Working", I assumed this was because WTfast was trying to launch steam while it was open but I cannot close steam while it WTFast is running I did try lots of different configurations with/without the launcher. Well I have tried both the steam version and the non-steam version, and I cannot get this programme to work for Final Fantasy 14.
